Spend a dream vacation in Tuscany's Chianti Classico wine district near Castellina in Chianti, one of the Chianti's most evocative towns and just a few miles from Florence and Siena.  The 16th century Poderi val Verdi estate is immersed in vineyard covered hills, silvery olive groves, vast forests and colourful macchia slopes - and admidst hidden ancient farm houses guarded by cypresses and towering pinetrees.

In this small family style hamlet our sophisticated guests will find undisturbed and unspoiled  nature, silence, sun, good food, Chianti wine, and a variety of cultural, sports and recreational activities.

There are 3 spacious apartments (2 - 5 pers.), 1 farmhouse portion (8-12 pers.), a romantic semi-attached cottage (4-6 pers).  Guests share a large swimming pool immersed in the large garden and fields of this wonderful country estate.  These apartments and cottages can be rented separately or together:

The guest house Casa Pineta - ex servant quarters and stables, the lovely small villa Casa La Capannina - have been restored with lots of love and expenses.  Romantic - the various small interlocking buildings, which cover various floors and still have their old beam ceilings and original cotto floors that have been left untouched as far as possible.

Together with its typical local furniture this guarantees the special Tuscan countryside charm expected by our sophisticated international guests.

The large community swimming pool (5,5x11 ) with its pavements of natural quarry stone and grass leisure areas is situated on the wind-protected sunny slopes slightly below the guesthouse.  Trees and pool side umbrellas provide shade on the hottest days. The comfortable shallow entry platform (3x3m) offers space and security also for the smallest of our guests.

All buildings are set in an extended well-cared garden park - the pride of the German owner and her staff. Cascades of flowers, rose bushes, citrus fruits as well as the surrounding meadows with many rare types of orchids and wild herbs create the unforgettable image of a lost paradise.
