Parking in the Neapolitan
Riviera can be extremely
difficult on and around the
following periods: Easter, 25th
April, 1st May, July, August,
Christmas and New Year. If
you intend travelling during
these periods to a property
which mentions roadside parking
then we highly recommend using a
limousine service on the arrival
and departure days (see below).
During your stay we recommend
you use the public transport
system which is cheap and
efficient. Public transport is
also recommended during your
stay even if your property has
off road parking. If you are
booking one of our properties
close to Amalfi (Il Vicolo, Il
Reale, La Finestra, Apt
Amalfitano) you can use a local
garage at a cost of between Euro
18 and Euro 20 per day plus a
charge of Euro 3 each time you
enter or exit the centre of
Amalfi. We therefore strongly
recommend the limousine and
public transport option in this
case. |

One kilometer round the
spectacular corniche road
from Amalfi lies the small
fishing village of Atrani.
Here, perched up high on one
side of the Valle del
Dragone or Dragon’s Valley,
is Villa Rosa, in which we
are delighted to be able to
offer five apartments of
varying sizes, located above
or below a large swimming
pool. Villa Rosa overlooks
the quaint village and the
sea far below and both can
be reached down
flower-filled walkways and
400 steps.
Location
Despite Atrani’s lingering
charms, Ravello is only a
hairpin-strewn ten minute
drive up the Dragon Valley -
simply unforgettable for the
best views to be had along
this coastline, already
justly famous for its
stupendous panoramas, and
for its aristocratic
restraint. From Villa Rosa’s
front gate there is a
winding road down to a
designated parking area from
which there are steps to all
the apartments. The pool
dimensions are 13.5 x 4.5m
with depths ranging from 2.4
to 1m deep. A laundry room
is available for all guests
Layout
The main feature of this
delightful apartment is its
enormous terrace with views
in one direction over Atrani
and the sea, and in the
other direction, up the
valley and its steep sides.
The terrace is bordered by
railings and has a table,
chairs and a barbecue for
outside dining. 6 steps from
the car park and 28 steps to
the swimming pool. Entrance
from the terrace is into a
double bedded room with
dining area and view over
Atrani. Separate bathroom
with bath, shower
attachment, WC etc.
Kitchenette with gas hob,
oven, fridge/freezer, double
sink unit and door out to
