General
Resting in its own, verdant
park, this magnificent Villa
is situated on the banks of
the River Adige at the edge
of the town of Villa
Bartolomea, 47kms from
Verona. Surrounded by lawn,
secular plane trees and
magnolias, the Villa is in
the heart of a highly
suggestive setting. Here the
three regions of the Veneto,
Lombardy and Emiglia Romagna
come together, offering
attractions of great
cultural, artistic and
environmental interest.
Location
The Villa is furnished with
authentic antiques,
magnificent paintings and
intricately frescoed walls
and ceilings. In a secluded,
hedged garden within the
park and away from the
villa, is an above ground
swimming pool which opens
from 1st June to 15th
September. As just part of
the Villa has central
heating only eight guests
can be accommodated during
the budget season. A fax is
available on request and a
caretaker lives within the
park.
A professional cook or
catering organisation can be
arranged for special events
on advance request. Ten
mountain bikes are available
for guests to meander the
lush, flat countryside.
Layout
Entrance is into a spacious,
furnished hall. The main,
large sitting room has
murals on the walls, lovely
furnishings and an open
fireplace. The piano room
also has a CD player.
Billiard room. Extensive
dining room. Television room
with video player. Enormous
kitchen/breakfast room
having cooker, oven and
fridge/freezer, dishwasher
and washing machine. A
cloakroom with WC. On the
first floor is a furnished
landing. The master, twin
bedded room also has a
sitting area and an en suite
bathroom with separate
WC. Four twin bedded rooms
all have en suite bathrooms
with WC etc. One further
twin bedded room has a
washbasin.Table tennis
table. On the second floor
is another twin bedded room
with adjacent bathroom, WC
etc. 250kw of electricity
per week is included and
should be ample for normal
use. Any extra is payable
locally.
Final cleaning charge is
Euro 300 with an additional
Euro 25 per person if the
occupancy level is 13 or
more.
