Location
The hotel, formerly an ancient convent, is located in the heart of Venice in a peaceful square named Campo Santa Marina. It is just 10 minutes walking distance from San Marco Square and 5 minutes from Rialto Bridge. The nearest boat stop is Rialto. Hotel also has its own private pier for access by water taxi and 5 meters away there is a pier for bigger boats.
Rooms
Rooms vary in size from medium to large, they have been recently refurbished and are equipped with all the modern comforts. They are tastefully decorated in traditional Venetian style and are in very good condition along with the stylish bathrooms.
Restaurant
The hotel has no restaurant. However, there are 2 breakfast rooms, one of which is a non smoking environment, and a bar. For the fine season there is also a romantic patio located in an inner courtyard.
Exterior
The hotel is a typical 3-storey Venetian building painted yellow, with green Venetian blinds and flowers at each window.
Lobby
The lobby is medium in size and very pretty with marble floors covered by rugs, flowers everywhere and elegant furniture. There is a comfortable seating area tastefully decorated and with beautiful pictures on the walls. The lobby opens up to the 2 breakfast rooms, the bar and the reading room.
General
This is a very good property, recently renovated, located in a central, but quiet, location. It is made up of 2 separate buildings at approximately 30 meters distance between each other, in the secondary building there is no lift. Breakfast and check-in/ out procedure take place in the main building. A porter is always available to escort guests to the secondary building.
