Le Torri di Bagnara, overlooking the wide expanse of the north Tiber River valley, was first opened to guests in 1985, is made of a complex of Historic Buildings including an 11th century Abbey, 12th century guard tower & 17th century farm and residential buildings.
The buildings are located in the 1300-acres/600 hectares Bagnara agricultural estate owned by the noble family Tremi-Giunta since 1901. The estate cultivates agricultural crops, roes, hares and the famous Chianina cattle; there is abundant wildlife and areas for walking & biking. The estate itself is crossed by the river Tiber and dotted with 4 small lakes, brooks and 5 mediaeval castles.
“ Le Torri di Bagnara" was nominated among the top 10 villas in Umbria by Condé Nast Architectural Digest, in July 2001, that dedicated an article with photos to it.
