The Hotel "Giovanni da Verrazzano", whose origins date back to medieval times, is situated in the main square in Greve in Chianti, at the heart of the Chianti Classico wine district. The Hotel has 10 rooms, all offering something different : a view over the magnificent square, use of a terrace, a view over the rooftops which dominate the surrounding countryside.
The Giovanni da Verrazzano Restaurant can seat 80 people inside and has a further 50 places available on the terrace overlooking the magnificent main square in Greve in Chianti. The cuisine is profoundly linked to the Tuscan countryside as is the choice of wines which range from the countless varieties of Chianti Classico, and the famous Brunellos of Montalcino and the Vino Nobile of Montepulciano.
The restaurant also operates a famous Tuscan cooking school where guests can take 1 day courses or courses lasting 1 week...enjoying the learning experience, and a ton of good food and wine! |
