Situated in the heart of the historical center of Castellina in Chianti, you will find the 15th century Palazzo Squarcialupi, this charming two floor apartment for two persons (40mq) is owned by the same people as the Hotel Palazzo Squarcialupi which is next door.

On the first floor, living-room with kitchenette.  Downstairs there is a lovely  bedroom with bathroom and private balcony looking on to the valley.

Guests have access to all the services of the hotel.

In the past, the Palace was a noble residence with agricultural activity and has recently been restored to become the HOTEL PALAZZO SQUARCIALUPI.

Underneath the hotel, in the ancient vaults with its suggestive stone structures, are the antique wine-cellars where wine to this day is produced, fruit of the prestigious vine-yards which extend around the village.

The hotel, with 15 rooms, two Superior rooms and three elegant lounges, projects you into a medieval world whose walls are an ever-silent witness to time. Every room, provided, with bathroom, telephone, air-conditioning, minibar and satellite TV, offers the maximum comfort for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

The hotel also provides private parking, elevator and two rooms for the disabled.

At the hotel bar, small enoteca (wine store-cellar) and at our panoramic terrace, guests can taste our own wines whilst admiring the magnificent scenery of the Chianti hillside.

Set in the spacious garden, in a most suggestive position, is the swimming-pool, from where you can also depart for a pleasant walk through 170 hectares of woods and vineyards which surround the property.

There is also a small spa center with Sauna and Jacuzzi and an outdoor pool.
