Villa Marsili is situated inside the town walls and dates back as far as the XIV Century where the site actually housed the very old church named Madonna degli Alemanni, as well as an Oratory below. Later in the 1700s, the site held the villa that now has become the beautiful Hotel.
The hall and all bedrooms are finely and elegantly decorated and furnished with many antique period pieces. The same intimate atmosphere pervades the breakfast lounge, the sitting-room with the fireplace and the fine outdoor garden where you can have a tea while enjoying the lovely valley and the Trasimeno lake.
There are 27 luxuriously furnished rooms (including three handsome suites), many of which enjoy marvellous, far-reaching views over the enchanting Valdichiana valley and the distant Lake Trasimeno. Each of the rooms has a beautifully designed en-suite bathroom plus direct-dial telephone, internet connection point, air conditioning, minibar and safety-deposit box.
Public areas include a sumptuous hall, an intimate breakfast room, a comfortable sitting room and a gorgeous garden filled with pergolas and flowers. There is also a very pleasant bar offering guests a choice of cocktails, aperitifs and coffee.
