Trullo Solari is a newly renovated luxury property that can accommodate up to 8 people in great comfort, set in five acres of peaceful countryside, just 2km from Ceglie Messapica in Puglia, Southern Italy. Come and enjoy the sunshine, friendly people and delicious food, and find out why more and more people are recommending Puglia to their friends.
Just 30 minutes from Brindisi or an hour from Bari, Trullo Solari is easily reached by Ryanair flights from London Stansted as well as regular connections from Rome and Milan.
Trullo Solari is a 300 year old building, with the traditional "trullo" cones of this region of Puglia. Two of the integrated "lamie" still have their original barrel vaulted ceilings. The house has just been redeveloped. The original features have been respectfully updated, yet the renovation has used progressive design to open the space within the building to enable maximum comfort.
This restoration project has recently been completed, creating a spacious, luxury accommodation.
The property has been designed to be beautiful, comfortable and environmentally friendly. Solar power is used for hot water and heating the house, and waste water is re-used (please use the organic bodycare products provided). In cooler months, underfloor heating and the woodburning stove will keep you warm. The trullo’s traditional thick walls and high ceilings keep it cool in summer.
The surrounding grounds are maintained organically.
