The Masseria Terra dei Padri
arises in the heart of the
Salento countryside, on the
road linking Campi Salentina
to the well-know Cellino San
Marco, set in a 300 hectare
estate immersed in vineyards
and olive trees in the
typical vegetation of the
“Macchia Mediterranea” area.
The air conditioned deluxe rooms and junior suites that comprise the estate are all equipped with the finest furnishings, the love for attention to detail and careful choice of materials.
The farm offers deluxe rooms and junior suites. The rooms are fitted out to cater for every needs and the Junior Suites can accommodate up to four people. All the rooms are enriched with elegant “Carparo” ceilings and “Pietra Leccese” fireplaces, some rooms have beautiful sunny terraces. The furnishing have shades of white, blue and green.
Some rooms also feature a private terrace solarium, others overlook the garden of the farm, which plunges in the florid countryside of Salento. The bathrooms have been created in Lecce stone and marble, sinks keep the shape of the basin, a typical structure of the Salento tradition, with the intention to strengthen ties with the past and the traditional culture of these lands and provide an opportunity for tourists to discover and appreciate them.
The guests of the Masseria Terra dei Padri apart from enjoying the peace and comfort that the environment offers, may also yield to the temptation of the palate of indulging in the pleasures of Antonio Raffaele Cuisine; Chef Antonio Raffaele was awarded best chef of the year in 2008; his art is expressed through special culinary creations with whose the Chef combines beauty, flair, creativity and poetry to the pleasure of the palate.
The restaurant, Provencal-inspired, big and bright, can accommodate about 100 seats inside and another 50 outside. It will also be possible to taste the house wine produced by the "Cantina Terra dei Padri" of the same property of the Masseria, at about 500 m. from it. The winery produces wine red Salice Salentino, Rosé and white wines Chardonnay and Sauvigny.
During certain seasons guests can "work" on the farm.
