This mid-18th-century farmhouse has exceptional panoramic views of Camerino and the Sibylline Mountains.  Immersed in silence, it is the ideal place to spend a relaxed and enervating holiday. The farm  was initially renowned for its cattle breeding, particularly for the quality of its bulls.

Originally an "outbuilding" to the main villa of the estate, the ground floor was used as stables and the first floor was the farmers' home.  The latest renovation, done with taste and refinement retained the building's original architectural features.  Now a country house "hotel", it takes its name, "Le Calvie", from the local area which is part of the comune of ancient Camerino, now a busy university city.

 

This country house  is surrounded by a lush and well-kept garden with a rich variety of plants and flowers.  Whilst wandering around the ample grounds, it is possible to enjoy the unique view, to relax in the sun and savour nature’s refreshing scents.  The surrounding countryside is an infinity of rolling hills crowned with forests of conifers, but whose sometimes steep slopes are layered with farms and fields defined by stone fences or lines of proud decidous trees, and crowned by forests of tall conifers. 

 

Sport lovers can enjoy walking and hiking tours in the beautiful Monti Sibillini National Park. Nearby is a well-equipped sports centre.  Those interested in culture can experience the atmosphere of the many medieval villages, fortresses and monasteries in the areas.  Enthusiastic shoppers can visit the many Marche outlets of famous Italian fashion companies.
