Le Fontane Estate is set in peaceful, stunning countryside just a ten-minute drive from Urbino, one of Italy’s most historical cities in the centre of Italy, close to the Adriatic Sea. Of the ten accommodations available throughout the lands of the estate, the one on offer here is one of two near the owner’s villa, the others being distanced within the grounds. The setting is superb, surrounded by green, wooded hills and the vistas are dazzling.

Location
Cottage Nocciola has a private, walled terrace with a completely uninterrupted view over the hills and rich, fertile countryside. The interior is furnished most attractively and is all on ground level. By the swimming pool, which opens from mid-June to mid-September, are changing rooms and toilet, a tennis court and a covered barbecue patio furnished with tables and chairs. Urbino, on the slopes of the Apennines and whose Palace is reputed to be the most beautiful in all Italy, is also a university town. The city is the highlight of the region, but the hills of the interior contain an abundance of smaller towns and all but undiscovered villages. Dining out in the region is relatively cheap and Ryanair offer inexpensive flights to nearby Ancona, the capital of Le Marche.

Entrance is into a kitchen/diner having cooking hob, oven and fridge with icebox. The sitting area has an open fireplace. The shower room has WC etc., and a spacious double-bedded room has doors onto a private terrace.
