VisitsItaly.com is extremely proud to
recommend the exclusive Villa Baroni apartment, a
private, self-catering apartment situated inside the
grounds of the justifiably famous Lake Como
villa, Villa Trotti Bentivogli, a large, quiet
and beautiful old estate situated on the shores
of Lake Como in the hamlet of San Giovanni, less
than 1 kilometer from Bellagio. A
variety of rare plant life is scattered amongst
the sequoias, cedars, oaks and palms surrounding
the villa which dates back to 1615.
Inside the park, is a large and splendid pool hidden by
the trees and private access path to the beach. The apartment occupies the complete first flour
of a marvelous free-standing Lombard style stone house
in the garden. The Apartment, therefore, is entirely
removed and independent from the villa; and
whilst the surrounding area is communal, more
often than not you will find yourself completely
alone, whether walking in the park or basking in
the sunshine by the pool. The entrance to the
Lord Byron Apartment is
private and exclusive and is situated at the
front of the house guaranteeing total
privacy.
The villa apartment is approximately 150 square meters
and features a very large living room with
fireplace and a "writers"
corner with Internet access and two bedrooms.
Two extra beds and a baby's cradle are available
if required. There are
three bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a
private terrace.
The apartment is flooded
with light from an array of five windows
overlooking Villa Trotti's large and luxurient
private park.
The Lord Byron Apartment also features two large and accessible car parking spaces
inside the park.
The incredible atmosphere will make your trip
unforgettable not just in summer, but also in
the winter when the mild climate, the deep blue
of the lake, and the autumn colors of the trees
in the park offer undeniable beauty and peace of
mind.
Beach access
A few meters away from the pool, walking over a
small iron bridge and across the river is the
lake's wonderful beach. A cobblestone shore and
a light breeze will make you think you're on the
seaside. On summer nights, a small beach kiosk
called The Riverside is open and frequented by
those who know it: atmosphere and a good drink
is always on offer.
