This attractive, self-catering spacious apartment, situated on the upper (2nd floor no lift) of a historic building once owned by nobility, is set on the waterfront of Santa Maria di Castellabate amongst the baronial towers and grand historic residential buildings dating back to the early 18th century.

From here one has stunning views across the superb blue sea as far as the Amalfi coast and the Island of Capri with the sandy beach below.
Ideally situated as the shops, cafes, restaurants and general amenities are just a short stroll away. The property comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen and a living/ dining room with superb sea views. There are 2 balconies with sea views.

Santa Maria di Castellabate is situated on the unspoilt Cilento coast in a National Parkland reserve 50km south of Salerno and the Amalfi coast. Its location means that it is somewhat off the 'tourist' track allowing it to preserve a natural Italian ambiance and yet is within easy reach of tourist attractions. It is ideally situated for those wishing to enjoy a holiday in a coastal region and also have access to places of historic and cultural interest. The medieval village of Castellabate dominates the hillside above Santa Maria and is a UNESCO heritage site reached in a 10 minute drive whilst the neighbouring fishing village of San Marco can be reached in a short drive or walk along the beach. Day excursions offer the opportunity to visits the unspoilt coastline further south to Palinuro or north towards the Amalfi coast.
