La Bussola sits in a quite,
beautifully landscaped park
setting with commanding views of
the Tyrrhenian Sea at Capo
Vaticano, a short distance from
the ancient city of Tropea.
Guests can use the hotel
swimming pools (one for adults,
one for families), or can access
the gorgeous white sand beaches
close by.
The hotel is a great place from
which to organize excursions
along this beautiful stretch of
coast, or into the always
fascinating Calabrian interior
with its rugged landscape.

cuisine is on order, of course:
local vegetables, cheeses,
meats, fruits, and fish
all find their way to La
Bussola's menu. The wine
list has good wines from all
over, but it also features local
delicious wines. The
dessert selection is fantastic,
but if you can't make a choice,
you will never go wrong trying
the ice cream (gelato) they make
on site. Needless to say,
