Located in central Praia a Mare, a few short
blocks from Praia's long, sandy beaches and
seconds away from stores and
restaurants, the Al Vecchio Pioppo B&B
sits at the south end of a tree-shaded promenade
called the Viale, and across the street from
Praia's main
Piazza with its
fountains and palm trees.
The B&B has 4 comfortable rooms which can be
reserved as a group, or individually. Some
rooms have private bathrooms, some have shared.
Many of the furnishings are old Calabrian
chests, chairs and tables which have been
restored and artistically redone with montages
by Al Vecchio Pioppo's owner, Gaetano Calabrese.
Gaetano is also a registered guide and can
accompany guests on tours and excursions in the
area. |
